The 2020 divisions and registration rates are as follows:

MINOR RALLY CAP: This division is for players born in 2015 and 2016. Rally Cap is a program that was the result of Athletics Canada's Long Term Athletics Development (LTAD) plan and an initiative of Baseball Canada. Minor Rally Cap nights will occur on Tuesdays at Edwards Memorial Park. There is a max of 72 participants within this division. In Minor Rally Cap, coaches will follow structured step by step drills that will enhance the fundamental skills of throwing, catching, hitting and running in a positive environment that emphasizes fun. The last half hour will see game action where players will either hit off a tee or see underhanded coach pitching.  Players will have the opportunity twice a year to receive coloured caps by demonstrating that they have accomplished milestones in the areas of throwing, catching, hitting and running similar to coloured belts in karate. MAJOR RALLY CAP: This division is for players born in 2013 and 2014. Major Rally Cap nights will occur on Mondays at Edwards Memorial Park. There is a max of 72 participants within this division. Players will progress through the Rally Cap program going through more advanced drills and having to exhibit higher milestones to achieve coloured rally caps. Games in Major Rally Cap will see batters face more coach pitching and the inclusion of catapulted pitching machines so that players will be prepared for the Rookie division.

ROOKIE: This division is for players born in 2011 and 2012. The Rookie teams will play in the HDBA loop against other Hamilton Baseball Associations as well as other Binbrook Rookie teams. Home games will occur at Edwards Memorial Park & Binbrook FairgroundsRoad games will be played at the other associations home park, all will be in Hamilton. Game nights will be set by the HDBA schedule, no Friday or weekend games will be scheduled other than rainouts. The Rookie division will see batters hit off an electrical pitching machine set at 37 mph. Registration includes two HDBA tournaments, the Mid Summer Classic and the City Championship.  Coaches will set their own practice schedule.

MOSQUITO:  This division is for players born in 2009 and 2010. The Mosquito teams will play in the HDBA loop against other Hamilton Baseball Associations as well as other Binbrook Mosquito teams. Home games will be played at Edwards Memorial Park and Binbrook Fairgrounds. Road games will be played at the other associations home park, all will be in Hamilton. Game nights will be set by the HDBA schedule, no Friday or weekend games will be scheduled other than rainouts. Players will play by truer baseball rules and will see live pitching from their peers for the first time. Registration includes two HDBA tournaments, the Mid Summer Classic and the City Championship. Coaches will set their own practice schedule.

PEEWEE: This division is for players born in 2007 and 2008. Pee Wee teams will play in the HDBA loop. Road games will occur at the other associations home park. Game nights will be determined by the HDBA schedule. No weekend games will be scheduled other than rainouts. Games will be played at the Glanbrook Sports Complex located at 4300 Binbrook Road. Players will see further pitching and base distances in Pee Wee. Registration includes two HDBA tournaments, the Mid Summer Classic and the City Championship. Coaches will set their own practice schedule.

BANTAM: This division is for players born in 2005 and 2006. There will be 1 team in this division with 13/14 players. Road games will occur at the other associations home park. Game nights will be determined by the HDBA schedule. No weekend games will be scheduled other than rainouts. Games will be played at the Glanbrook Sports Complex located at 4300 Binbrook Road. Players will play by full baseball rules at regulation distances. Pitching and base distances are set at regulation distances. Registration includes two HDBA tournaments, the Mid Summer Classic and the City Championship. Coaches will set their own practice schedule.

GIRL'S ATOM SOFTBALL: This division is for females born in 2010 or 2011. The team will play in the Flamborough Minor Softball Association. Game nights will be determined by the FMSA schedule. Teams within the the FMSA comprise of other Greater Hamilton Area associations such as Lynden and Ancaster. Road games will occur at the other associations home ballpark. Home games will either occur at Binbrook Fairgrounds or Edwards Memorial Park. Coaches will set their own practise schedule.

GIRL'S SQUIRT SOFTBALL: This division is for females born in 2008 or 2009. The team will play in the Flamborough Minor Softball Association. Game nights will be determined by the FMSA schedule. Teams within the the FMSA comprise of other Greater Hamilton Area associations such as Lynden and Ancaster. Road games will occur at the other associations home ballpark. Home games will either occur at Binbrook Fairgrounds or Edwards Memorial Park. Coaches will set their own practise schedule.

GIRL'S PEEWEE SOFTBALL: This division is for females born in 2006 or 2007. The team will play in the Flamborough Minor Softball Association. Game nights will be determined by the FMSA schedule. Teams within the the FMSA comprise of other Greater Hamilton Area associations such as Lynden and Ancaster. Road games will occur at the other associations home ballpark. Home games will either occur at Binbrook Fairgrounds or Edwards Memorial Park. Coaches will set their own practise schedule.

 
Please note the following: Stated game nights is what is being planned. Circumstances beyond the leagues control may force changes such as permit availability. Players must be registered in their appropriate age divisions. Failure to do so will result in a refund. A registration is only considered complete if full payment is made. An automatically generated email reminder is sent for registrations without full payment. After a period of time, these registrations will be deleted from the system. All players who were not registered as a player with Binbrook Baseball for the 2019 season must send a picture of their birth certificate to [email protected] to complete the registration process. Any questions regarding registration please send an email to: [email protected]
