April Season Update
Submitted By BMBA on Monday, April 26, 2021
Important news regarding some changes to the 2021 season.
In the interest of safety for all players and families of the Binbrook Minor Baseball Association, and the community of Binbrook, the elected board has made the decision not to take part in interlock play with the OBA or the HDBA for the 2021 season. Due to the current state of the pandemic, and the uncertainty of what this summer may look like, we will be adjusting our programming to focus more on player skill development with an emphasis on fun. As we progress further into the summer, and restrictions are eased, our hope is to incorporate local game play into the programming.
We will continue to offer the best level of instruction possible, with the necessary modifications. Our goal, as always, is to engage our athletes with fun and challenging drills and games to help grow not only their skill but their love of the game.
We are still in need of coaching volunteers to assist in the implementation of the new programming. No experience is necessary. Coaches will be provided with all the required equipment, as well as the practice plans for each week. Each group will be scheduled for 1 night a week; programming typically lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours per session. Interested volunteers can contact [email protected] for more information
