Bantam Rep Tryout Dates
Submitted By N Sharma on Friday, September 15, 2017
Tryouts for the 2018 Bison Bantam Rep Team (2003 & 2004 birth years) are:

Friday September 29th 6 – 8 pm
Sunday October 1st 3 - 5 pm
Tuesday October 3rd 5:45 - 7:30 pm

All tryouts will be held at the Glanbrook Sports Complex diamond #1, 4300 Binbrook Rd, Binbrook, On.

The Bantam rep team will be entering the Central Ontario Baseball Association (COBA) Tier II division (Ancaster, Waterdown, Burlington, Oakville, etc) in 2018 as the NDBA does not run a Bantam division within their loop. If numbers and talent depth can support  two teams, a Minor Bantam team of 2004 birth years and a Major Bantam team of 2003 birth years, then two teams will be created. If the numbers or talent depth cannot support a Major and a Minor Bantam team, then the decision to form one combined team of the top evaluated players made up of 2003 and 2004 birth years will be made. This team will be then play within COBA’s Major Bantam tier II division.

Players who were not rostered on a 2017 Bisons rep team and have a residential postal code that is not Hamilton based L0R, L8J (upper Stoney Creek) or are not a resident of Cayuga, Smithville, must obtain a release from their home affiliation before they are permitted to tryout. Hamilton residents outside of the postal codes L0R or L8J require a release from the Hamilton District Baseball Association (HDBA).  For further information on this please email: [email protected]
