Bantam Rep team 2017 ???
Submitted By Administrator on Tuesday, August 23, 2016
What you need to know!

The Binbrook Baseball Association is committed to both improving the Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD) of all players in our association as well as to keeping kids playing baseball for as long as possible.

In 2016 we showed a commitment to creating a girls softball team in order to allow the female players within Binbrook a local place to play.  It was a lot of hard work, however with the commitment and registration of these players it was a huge success!

For 2017 we see a promising group of talented Bantam aged players who still have the potential to play a higher level of baseball.  We have every intention to initiate a Bantam rep team, playing out of the NDBA loop, like the Mosquito and Peewee teams, however the drive first comes from the players and parents to register for 2017 first.

In 2016 the BBA had to merge with the Dofasco Baseball Association in order to field a Bantam team.  In order to run a Bantam rep team this year, it would be optimal to have 22-24 bantam aged players registered by December 1st, so arrangements and plans can be made to set up the Bantam rep team, as it would be in its expansion year.  More importantly the "early bird" rate would save you a few dollars too!

In the end our goal is simple... keep the game of baseball in Binbrook going for as long as possible for players of ALL ages!  All we ask from YOU is to register NOW so we have more clarity on the interest of a potential Bantam rep team.
