Coaches Clinic Update
Submitted By Administrator on Monday, April 4, 2016
By popular demand, the Binbrook Baseball Association will be hosting our own Coaches Clinic on Saturday 14th May at 10am - 2:30pm.

On May 14th the BBA will be hosting a 4 hour coaching clinic, mandatory for all Head Coaches, but open to any parents with a child within the BBA, who may want to be an assistant coach.  The in class portion will take place at the Glanbrook Municipal Town Hall located at 4300 Binbrook Rd (across from the Glanbrook Arena) from 10-12.  A 30 minute break will allow for a quick bite and travel time and then coaches will be meeting at the Fairgrounds Park for an on field session from 12:30 - 2:30pm (5 minutes travel).

The clinic will not only cover off the basics of coaching using Ontario Baseball and Baseball Canada material thru a 2-hour in class portion, however will also include a 2 hour outside coaching module using players selected for the 2016 Binbrook Bisons rep teams.  This component will give coaches a hands on approach of how to run a practice, drill use and overall team management.

Coaches that are interested in becoming a HEAD COACH of any level (T-ball to Bantam) are asked to email Pat McFadyen at [email protected] for more information AND to register at the coaches registration link.

If you can not commit to becoming a head coach, however want to give your time as an assist coach AND want to take this course are welcome to do so but to email Pat to register.

Parents that register as HEAD COACHES and take this clinic and on-line portion are eligible for a 50% registration rebate August 1st.
